Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website.

2. Data Controller

ReportingSoft SA

chemin de Chantemerle 14, 1010 Lausanne, Switzerland

Contact: info@reportingsoft.ch

3. What Data We Collect

  • Automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, and, if you accept analytics, information about the pages you visit.
  • Provided by you: name, email address and company details, when you complete the contact form or request a demonstration.

4. Purpose of Processing

We use personal data for:

  • Responding to enquiries and providing requested services
  • Understanding how the website is used, where you have consented to this
  • Protecting the website and its forms from automated abuse
  • Legal and regulatory compliance

5. Legal Basis (GDPR / Swiss nFADP)

  • Performance of a contract
  • Compliance with legal obligations
  • Legitimate interests, such as protecting the website and its forms from automated abuse
  • Consent, for website analytics

6. Data Sharing

We work with a small number of service providers, each of which processes data only on our instructions:

  • Netlify — hosts this website and delivers its pages
  • Cloudflare — protects our forms from automated abuse
  • consentmanager — manages the consent banner and stores your consent choice
  • Clicky (Roxr Software Ltd) — website analytics, only if you have accepted them

We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by law.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to the processing of your data.

Requests: info@reportingsoft.ch

9. Cookies

When you first visit this site you are asked which optional technologies may run. Your choice is stored so that you are not asked again, and you can change or withdraw it at any time by reopening the consent banner.

Strictly necessary. The record of your consent choice is stored on your device and by consentmanager, so that your decision can be respected on every page. Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from automated abuse. Neither can be switched off, because the site would not work correctly without them, and neither is used to build a profile of you.

Analytics, only with your consent. We use Clicky to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Clicky is configured not to set cookies and not to identify individual visitors. If you decline, it is not loaded at all.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

11. International Transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, principally in the United States. Where that is the case we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses together with the equivalent Swiss safeguards, and, where the recipient is certified under it, the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework.

If you decline analytics, no information about your visit is sent to Clicky in the United States.

12. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will always be available on this website.
